Battery swelling issue in my iPod touch

I have an iPod touch 6th generation - 64GB. I bought it at the end of 2015 with AppleCare+.

I noticed there was something weid in my iPod touch Friday night. It seems like the battery is swelling a bit. When I visit Apple website, iPod touch is gone from the product line-up.

Actually, I am flying to Vancouver next week. 7 days to go.

It means I should buy Apple Watch instead? I don't have iPhone.

I made an appointment to Apple support online, then they called me back and made a resavation of Genius Bar for me. I am going to the Apple store tomorrow afternoon.  I hope they have another pink iPod touch.

I want to change to iPhone from Android smartphone, but I have to wait for next spring. Maybe next March or April?
